COACHING

Practical teaching designed around the individual.

FLSC uses a structured approach to help clients build financial and real-world skills in a way that is clear, practical, and easier to apply.

The curriculum provides the structure, but the teaching adapts to the individual. Explanations, examples, activities, pacing, repetition, and level of challenge can be adjusted based on the client’s understanding and learning needs.

The goal is not simply to move through material. It is to help the client understand what they are learning and connect it to decisions and responsibilities outside of the session.

Teaching Approach

FLSC combines education, conversation, and hands-on learning to create an active coaching experience.

Rather than relying on lecture alone, sessions may include guided discussion, visual instruction, worksheets, educational videos, real-life scenarios, and interactive activities.

Clients are encouraged to ask questions, think through choices, and participate in the learning process.

When a concept needs more time, it can be slowed down, explained differently, or reinforced with additional examples. When a client demonstrates stronger understanding, the discussion and activities can become more challenging.

The curriculum provides the structure. The teaching adapts to the individual.

A Structured 8-Week Program

FLSC follows a structured 8-week learning path designed to build skills progressively.

Core concepts are introduced in a logical order so clients can develop a stronger foundation before exploring additional financial and World Readiness topics.

While the program follows a consistent structure, the way each topic is taught can be adjusted to better match the client’s understanding, goals, and support needs.

What Sessions Can Look Like

Sessions are designed to keep clients actively involved in the learning process.

Depending on the topic and the individual, coaching may include:

  • Guided conversation and questions
  • Visual teaching and presentations
  • Worksheets and practical exercises
  • Educational videos
  • Real-life examples and scenarios
  • Interactive learning activities

The format may change from session to session so clients have multiple ways to understand and practice important concepts.

Connecting Learning to Everyday Life

FLSC is designed to make learning practical.

Whenever possible, coaching connects concepts to choices, goals, and responsibilities clients may encounter outside of the session. This helps make the information more relevant, understandable, and useful over time.

HOW IT WORKS

Virtual Coaching Built for Focused, Individualized Learning

FLSC coaching is delivered virtually, allowing clients to participate from home or another comfortable setting.

Sessions are primarily one-on-one, giving each client focused attention and the opportunity to ask questions, work through concepts, and learn at a pace that supports understanding.

Program Schedule

8weeks
16sessions
2sessions per week
45–60minutes per session

This structure allows skills to develop gradually while giving clients time to process and connect what they are learning to everyday life.

One-on-One Attention

Coaching is primarily delivered one-on-one so the session can remain centered on the individual client.

This allows FLSC to adjust explanations, examples, pacing, repetition, and level of support based on how the client is responding to the material.

The goal is to provide structure without creating a one-size-fits-all learning experience.

Support When It Helps

While sessions are primarily between FLSC and the client, family members, guardians, or support professionals may be involved when appropriate and helpful.

Their involvement may support communication, reinforce important skills, or help connect coaching to responsibilities the client manages outside of sessions.

The client remains at the center of the coaching experience.

What You Need for Virtual Coaching

Clients can participate using a phone, tablet, or computer.

A computer or tablet is recommended for the best experience because sessions may include presentations, worksheets, videos, and interactive activities.

A phone can still be used when needed so clients are not limited by the device available to them.

Learning at the Right Pace

Every client brings a different level of knowledge, experience, and support needs.

FLSC can adjust the pace of instruction, provide additional examples, revisit concepts, or increase the level of challenge as appropriate.

The goal is not to rush through the program. It is to help the client build meaningful understanding and practical skills throughout the experience.

ABOUT FLSC

Helping individuals build practical knowledge, confidence, and real-world skills for greater independence.

Financial Life Skills Coaching LLC was created to make important financial and everyday life concepts easier to understand, more practical to use, and more connected to the decisions people face in everyday life.

FLSC is built around the belief that knowledge can create options. When people better understand how money works, how to ask questions, how to think through decisions, and how to apply what they learn, they are better prepared to navigate responsibilities with greater confidence.

Why FLSC Exists

Information is more available than ever, but knowing what to search for, what questions to ask, and how to apply what you find can still be difficult.

FLSC was created to help close that gap.

The goal is to provide clients with a stronger foundation of practical knowledge while encouraging them to think through choices, recognize opportunities, ask better questions, and develop skills they can continue building over time.

FLSC is not about expecting clients to know everything. It is about helping them become more informed, prepared, and confident when navigating real-world situations.

Meet the Founder

Dashon Jones

Founder & Financial Life Skills Educator

Dashon Jones brings 15 years of experience in education to Financial Life Skills Coaching LLC.

Throughout his career, teaching has reinforced the importance of breaking complex ideas into smaller, understandable pieces and finding different ways to help people connect with what they are learning.

Alongside his work in education, Dashon has gained firsthand experience in real estate and entrepreneurship, giving him practical perspective on many of the financial decisions, responsibilities, and opportunities discussed through FLSC.

For years, he believed he needed to accomplish more before his experiences were valuable enough to share. Over time, he realized that each step, lesson, decision, challenge, and adjustment had already created knowledge that could help someone else move forward.

That realization became part of the foundation for FLSC.

Dashon believes mindset plays an important role in growth—not as motivation alone, but through being willing to learn, ask questions, recognize possibilities, make informed decisions, and continue adjusting when things do not go as planned.

A Teaching-First Approach

FLSC is rooted in education.

The focus is on making concepts understandable, creating opportunities for clients to participate in the learning process, and connecting information to everyday life.

The curriculum provides structure, while the teaching can adapt to the individual.
